Our Faith Community

Students go to Mass weekly and have the opportunity to plan and participate in religious based activities throughout the school year. We celebrate Mass in our chapel.

In a Catholic school such as St. Clare, our Catholic beliefs color all our efforts for education including far more than the mere accumulation of facts.  We intend to form strong Catholic men and women, well-equipped with Catholic doctrine and the intellectual stamina necessary to meet today’s complex and challenging problems.

A Ministry Of

St. Clare School is a ministry of our three parish communities: St. Nicholas Parish, Corpus Christi Parish, St. Clare of Assisi Parish. We could not do what we do without the generosity and support of these amazing parish communities.

Upon graduation from St. Clare there are several Catholic high schools that are part of the Diocese of Belleville.  Those are Althoff Catholic High School and Mater Dei Catholic High School.

School board

The pastors of St. Clare and St. Nicholas parishes, as co-superintendents, establish the St. Clare school board as a consultative board, reporting to the pastors. The board is established by the pastors to assist them and the school’s principal in the governance of the school program.
